Quarter 1 Serve Day: Sowing Seeds with BeGenerous
At Live 30A Real Estate, our mission goes beyond helping people find their perfect homes—we’re dedicated to making a real difference in the lives of those around us. That’s why our Quarter 1 Serve Day was so special. We had the incredible opportunity to partner with BeGenerous, a local nonprofit committed to loving, equipping, and empowering women in crisis.
Together, we rolled up our sleeves and helped build a greenhouse—a beautiful, hope-filled space where life will quite literally bloom! (And yes, we definitely took the chance to show off our muscles—turns out, lifting lumber is just another form of cardio!)
About BeGenerous
BeGenerous is a ministry that creates safe and nurturing transitional housing for women and children overcoming trauma, abuse, addiction, and homelessness. Their mission is grounded in faith and compassion:
“To provide a safe place to live, opportunities to grow, and a path to healing for women and children in crisis, through the love of Jesus Christ.”
They believe in second chances, and in the power of community, healing, and restoration. Through mentoring, discipleship, and real-world support, BeGenerous walks alongside women as they rebuild their lives on a strong and lasting foundation.
A Greenhouse of Growth
On Serve Day, we joined the BeGenerous team to lay the foundation—literally and spiritually—for their new greenhouse. This space will serve many purposes:
🌱 Propagating herbs, succulents, and plants
🥬 Growing vegetables and fruits
💚 Providing fresh produce for the women in their homes
🌻 Creating income opportunities through plant sales at their store and local farmers markets
What’s being planted here isn’t just greenery. It’s hope. Dignity. Provision. Empowerment. This greenhouse is a symbol of the new life and self-sufficiency that BeGenerous fosters every day.
To the BeGenerous team: THANK YOU! Thank you for opening your hearts and hands to the women and children who need it most. Thank you for giving us the privilege to be part of this incredible vision. Your work is transforming lives—and we’re honored to support it.

Our Serve Day was a small part of a much bigger story—a story of restoration, healing, and faith. We walked away not just inspired, but deeply grateful for the seeds planted in the soil and in our hearts.
