BeGenerous- All Things New

At Live30A, we believe in the transformative power of serving others. This past quarter, we had the pleasure of connecting with local non-profit organization BeGenerous, establishing a relationship with them, and becoming involved in their incredible mission. During our day, we were met with incredible warmth, hospitality and love. We had the privilege to connect with the leadership team, help clean up the landscaping, and build a little playground area for the children.
BeGenerous is a Christ-centered 501c3, non-profit organization, “created to support and assist son’s and daughter’s overcoming substance use disorder (addiction) and/or sexual exploitation (sex trafficking).”

BeGenerous has been tirelessly working for over a decade to bridge the gap for hundreds of sons and daughters caught in the torment of addiction and life-threatening situations. In many communities, the lack of long-term housing and support programs leaves many vulnerable individuals with nowhere to turn. This is where BeGenerous took matters into their own hands. At the heart of their mission, is the vision to create a dwelling place where daughters in desperate need can find freedom, wholeness, and acceptance within a loving family environment. Thus the Yellow House was created.
The Yellow House operates two homes that provide a Christ-centered, 24 month residential recovery program. This program is more than just a temporary shelter; it’s a place where individuals can find safety, regain their true identity, and rediscover their purpose. By removing them from environments that expose them to violence, homelessness, abuse, relapse, and sexual exploitation, the Yellow House offers a fresh start and a chance to heal deeply.
