Who Is Surf Brigade?
Surf Brigade is a local nonprofit collective that uses surfing as a way to bring people together and uplift the community along Scenic Highway 30A. Their mission is simple yet powerful: build confidence, create connection, and spark joy through the ocean.
They organize surf camps and clinics for local youth, especially those who might not otherwise have access to the water. They provide boards, instruction, and mentorship — teaching not just surfing techniques, but also important life skills like perseverance, teamwork, and respect for the ocean. Beyond that, Surf Brigade regularly hosts beach clean-ups, ocean safety workshops, and community surf days that are open to everyone.
Their dedication to service creates ripples that travel far beyond the shoreline. Kids gain confidence, families build memories, and our 30A beaches stay cleaner and more beautiful because of their efforts.
How Live 30A Is Giving Back
For this third quarter, we’re channeling a portion of every home sale directly to Surf Brigade. Our goal is to help support them in any way we can.
In addition, our Live 30A team will be rolling up our sleeves and volunteering at upcoming Surf Brigade community day!
It’s our way of showing gratitude for the community that gives us so much. Every closing this quarter contributes to building not just homes, but hope and happiness for the next generation of 30A locals.
