A Day On Thirty-A!

Have you ever been on vacation elsewhere and decided to spend a day exploring 30A, only to feel unsure about where to begin or what to do? If so, you’ve come to the right place! Here at Live30A, we have designed the most efficient and fun-filled itinerary for your day on 30A!

Morning: Sunrise, Coffee, and Beach Time!

6:30A.M.- Sunrise at Grayton Beach

Early bird gets the worm around here! Start your day early to catch the sunrise at Grayton Beach. The soft morning light reflects off the crystal clear waters, creating a breathtaking scene that is worth the early wake-up call!

8:00A.M.- Breakfast at Black Bear Bread Co.

After your morning walk, head over to Black Bear Bread Co. in Grayton Beach for a delicious breakfast and even better coffee to start your morning. This local favorite offers a range of freshly baked pastries, artisanal breads, and speciality coffee. Try their avocado toast or classic egg sandwich for a satisfying start to your day!

9:00A.M.- Farmers Market in Seaside

A short drive from Grayton Beach, Seaside is a charming town known for its picturesque streets and vibrant community. On Saturdays, the Seaside Farmers Market is the place to be. Browse through stalls filled with local produce, handmade goods, and unique gifts. This is a great spot to pick up a souvenir or even snacks for your later adventures!

Late Morning: Biking and Beach Hopping!

10:30A.M.- Bike along the Timpoochee Trail

Rent a bike from one of the many rental shops in Seaside and set off on the Timpoochee Trail, a 19-mile paved path the runs parallel to 30A. This route will take you through various beach communities, including Watercolor and Seagrove, overing glimpses of the Gulf, coastal dunes, and lush landscapes.

11:30A.M.- Beach time at Seagrove

Park your bike at Seagrove beach and spend some time soaking up the sun. Whether you prefer to swim, paddleboard, or just relax with a book, this is the perfect place to unwind.

Afternoon: Lunch and Adventure

1:00P.M.- Lunch at The Perfect Pig

By now you have probably worked up an appetite so head on over to The Perfect Pig in Seagrove for a mouthwatering lunch. This cozy eatery offers Southern-inspired dishes with a gourmet twist. Their pulled pork sandwiches and grilled cheese are both crowd winners!

2:30P.M.- Visit the shops at Rosemary Beach

Continue your journey eastward to Rosemary Beach! Take a leisurely stroll through the cobblestone streets, exploring the boutique shops and art galleries. Don’t miss out on the hidden courtyards and beautifully landscaped gardens that give Rosemary Beach its unique charm.

3:30P.M.- Paddleboarding at Lake Powell

For a bit of adventure, drive to Lake Powell, one of the largest coastal dune lakes in Florida! Rent and paddleboard or kayak and explore the calm waters surrounded by lush nature. This is a great way to experience the areas unique ecosystems and spot wildlife like herons and turtles.

Evening: Sunset, Dinner, and Nightlife!

5:30P.M.- Sunset at Alys Beach

Alys Beach is known for its stunning architecture and pristine beach. Arrive in time to catch the sunset, where the white buildings glow in the fading light (it quite literally feels like you are in a different country!). The beach here is quieter, offering a more peaceful environment to end your day by the water.

7:00P.M.- Dinner at George’s at Alys Beach

After sunset, treat yourself to dinner at George’s, a popular restaurant in Alys Beach that serves fresh, locally sourced seafood with a Southern twist. The outdoor patio is a perfect spot to enjoy dishes like their famous grouper sandwich or the shrimp and grits!

8:30P.M.- Drinks at The Pearl Hotel

End your incredible day with a nightcap at The Pearl Hotel’s rooftop bar in Rosemary Beach! With its chic ambiance and stunning views of the Gulf, it’s the perfect place to relax and reflect on your day on 30A. Sip on a craft cocktail or a glass of wine as you soak in the evening breeze!

10:00P.M.- Stargazing at Inlet Beach

If you are not ready to end your day, head on over to Inlet Beach for some late night stargazing! The lack of light pollution along this stretch of coast makes it an ideal spot to lay back on the sand and gaze up at the stars. It is a peaceful and magical way to wrap up your day on 30A!
